Job Description
- Take ownership of data-related products, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs;
- Leverage your expertise to manage complex data infrastructures, including data warehouses and big data environments;
- Apply your knowledge of data governance principles, best practices, and data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA to ensure data products adhere to legal and ethical standards;
- Utilize your strong technical knowledge in data technologies, including Big Data, Machine Learning, Data Warehousing, BI tools, and/or advanced SQL, to guide product development and technical teams;
- Employ your understanding of cloud solutions, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, to guide the deployment and scaling of data products within a cloud environment.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- +3 years in a role such as product owner, product manager, or similar;
- Proven expertise in managing complex data infrastructures;
- Strong technical foundation in data technologies: Big Data, Machine Learning, Data Warehousing, BI tools, and advanced SQL;
- Thorough understanding of Data Architecture, Modeling, Storage, Quality, BI, Big Data, Metadata, and Integration;
- Functional data expertise: KPI mapping, Data Model Design, Dashboard Mockups;
- Familiarity with visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, Looker;
- Governance & Regulations: Familiarity with data governance principles, best practices, and data protection regulations like GDPR and CCPA;
- Proficiency in Agile, particularly Scrum;
- Certifications in Product Management or Agile are preferred;
- Cloud Platforms: Understanding of cloud solutions such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
