Job Description

As a Data Engineer at SmartDev, you will:

• Select optimal technologies suited to our project needs, deploying and managing these solutions effectively.
• Manage data storage solutions across structured, semi-structured, and non-structured formats.
• Implement strong encryption methods to secure data at rest.
• Develop tools for safe access across various data sources.
• Engineer solutions for conducting real-time analytics.
• Utilize container technologies to enhance development processes.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience with technologies such as Elastic Search, Cassandra, Hadoop, or Mongo DB.
• Proficiency in Spark and query engines like Presto/Trino.
• A strong background in microservices-based architectures and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments; knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is an added advantage.
• Cloud platform knowledge, especially AWS or GCP, is highly desirable.
• Excellent teamwork skills, a respectful attitude, and a willingness to continually learn and grow.
