Role Overview: Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer on our Office Platform team, you will tackle complex and challenging problems, requiring creative solutions and a collaborative mindset. Your role will focus on enhancing the developer experience and adding business value through the design and development of resilient, high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Requirements and Modeling: Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, negotiate data agreements, and define metrics for feature-specific data.
• Data Model Design and Specification: Engage in designing data models and drafting specifications while optimizing data schemas for analytical needs.
• Data Engineering: Implement processes for data extraction and validation, ensure the quality and reliability of data, and maintain robust data pipelines.
• Data Tool Development: Design and maintain essential tools for data transformation and management, ensuring optimal performance and sustainability.
• Data Compliance and Governance: Adhere to strict data handling procedures and contribute to data governance initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or data science, particularly in environments utilizing C#/Java.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proven track of data engineering expertise.
• A growth mindset with a keen interest in learning new technologies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies like Scrum.
