Job Description:

As a Data Engineer 2 on our Credit Platform Team within the PayPal Credit department, you will play a critical role in handling high-performance data loads, developing ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity for PayPal’s credit products like BNPL loans, credit cards, and merchant loans.

Your Daily Impact:

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Utilize automation to enhance data load accuracy and efficiently generate test data.

• Conduct automated data quality checks and maintain data integrity across various platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, ensuring robust and efficient data operations.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in SQL, Python, and database management.

• Skilled in PySpark, Pandas, and other data processing technologies.

• Familiarity with AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, and other data warehousing tools.

• Proficiency in data modeling, schema design, and optimization for high scalability.

Salary and Benefits:
