As a Senior Backend Engineer at Kunai, you will play a crucial role in developing a state-of-the-art payment solution for one of the world's top financial institutions. This role involves shaping a production solution that integrates legacy applications in Java/J2EE/Spring Boot with modern data pipelines and features utilizing Python and Scala.

What You Need to Succeed

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Python.
• Proven experience with event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency in large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with distributed computing tools such as EMR, Kafka, and Spark.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or GraphDB.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies including DynamoDB, ECS, Lambda, and Fargate.
• Knowledge of data warehouse platforms like Snowflake or Databricks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Scala.
• Advanced expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
