Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Data Engineer to join our Product Intelligence team. The role involves close collaboration with our Product Telemetry Team in Madrid to synthesize data from various sources. Your goal will be to provide our Product team and the wider organization with actionable product usage and business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ETLs to transform data within our data warehouse.
• Perform data modeling and lifecycle management to ensure data quality and reliability through statistical process controls.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements for automation, scalability, and data pipeline optimization.
• Develop interfaces to integrate new data sources using 3rd-party APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Product Management, Engineering, Technical Services, and Finance to create and support a comprehensive data strategy.
• Conduct data analysis on product performance, feature adoption, and user behavior to derive business insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Create and update product telemetry reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Strong understanding of database design and data modeling techniques.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in developing ETLs for data ingestion and transformation.
• Practical experience with SQL, Python, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with dbt, Amazon Glue, and Amazon Redshift is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization is advantageous.
