Job Purpose

We seek a Data Engineer ready to shape our client's business and product strategy. This role involves collaboration across multiple departments including Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to implement data-driven strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting tailored solutions involving data pipelines, reporting systems, and dashboards, working closely with Data Analysts and Scientists to optimize outcomes.

Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in aligning client expectations, proactive knowledge acquisition, and technical problem-solving directly tied to business needs. Your ability to mentor peers and manage multiple projects will be crucial. We value team players who contribute to technical designs and offer innovative solutions.

Qualifications

We are eager to welcome a candidate who has:

• Over 4 years of Python experience
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD environments, and operating systems such as Linux or MacOS
• Experience with technologies like Airflow, Docker, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), and Kubernetes is beneficial
• Knowledge in database management systems including Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and others
• Strong track record of client communication and ability to explain complex technical terms in simple language
• At least 2 years of professional software consulting, preferably in client-facing roles
• Availability to start immediately in Croatia
