Join Our Team as a Data Engineer at Bitful

Do you have a passion for working within an Azure data warehouse environment? Bitful is looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our exceptional team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing database designs and architecture, data modeling, metadata repository creation, and collaborating closely with Architects, Technical Leads, and Business Teams to contribute to technical designs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer at Bitful, you will:

• Secure data migrations and transformations to/from clients, customers, and vendors
• Provide technical database consultation on application development, global infrastructure, and other database administration efforts related to specific DBMS
• Conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows
• Migrate current ETL and SSIS packages to Synapse

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

• 2-3+ years of proven experience in performing large data migration and transformation efforts
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake Storage
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries and creating data models
• Experience or exposure to TSQL, SQL Server, and PL/SQL
• Experience or exposure to Informatica PowerCenter, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema
• Database performance tuning skills
• Data warehouse and data mart experience
• Strong knowledge of various data structures and the ability to extract data from various sources such as Cognos, Informatica, Hyperion, etc.
