About the Role

We are searching for a Data Engineer with extensive knowledge in PySpark, Python, AWS, and version control using Git. This role will allow you to advance your career within our Artificial Intelligence & Data team, participating in national and international projects.

Qualifications

• Graduated or hold a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, or similar fields.
• 2-5 years of experience as a data engineer working with large data sets.
• Proficient in PySpark and Python for developing ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Experience developing data solutions using AWS services.
• Skilled in version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of software development best practices such as unit testing, data application architecture, and optimization.
• Familiarity with database systems, data modeling, and SQL.
• Team player with problem-solving skills and experience working in collaborative environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data solutions for handling large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide project solutions.
• Develop ETL processes including extraction, transformation, and loading of data using PySpark, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Implement and optimize data processing tasks using AWS services like Glue or S3.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing.
• Leverage AWS services for data storage, processing, and analysis.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code in Python for data processing tasks and ETL.
• Utilize Git for version control, ensuring proper documentation and maintaining an organized, collaborative development environment.
• Document data engineering processes, workflows, and architecture to share knowledge and references.
