Data Engineer - Analytics

About the position: At Cabify, we are driven by data. Our team constructs and expands a massive data warehouse where the Data Analytics team can extract not only raw data, but also complicated etls processes to offer the insights required. But where is all this data visible? We have a Tableau server instance that holds thousands of workbooks and is accessed by hundreds of users daily. We take care of that instance and work diligently to ensure everything runs smoothly. We have also developed, and continue to develop tools related to Tableau and our data warehouse, aiming to enhance our users' interaction with data. In Analytics Engineering, we manage our own cloud infrastructure (AWS). Our internal etls platform consists of over 400 processes (Python, Airflow, Redshift, S3, Spectrum, Glue, RDS, BigQuery, DBT) that we visualize with our Tableau server cluster (Tableau Server Linux, Ec2, Python, Airflow). You will: We are seeking new team members to help us achieve our mission. Here’s how you will contribute: - Maintain & upgrade our internal etls platform (Airflow), ensuring the data is easily accessible, reliable & accurate. - Design, develop, test, monitor, manage, and validate data warehouse activities. - Assist data analysts to maximize the value of the data through engineering solutions. Our Ideal candidate has: - Strong alignment with our principles, which we consider fundamental. - Minimum 3 years experience in coding and delivering complex data projects. - Minimum 3 years of work experience in Python. - Intermediate SQL skills, enabling you to implement, understand, and improve moderately complex queries. - You are consistently looking to extract more value from our raw data and reduce the effort our final users spend on obtaining answers. - Experience in integrating data from multiple sources inclusive of DBs, product tracking, and APIs.
