Data Engineer and Data Analyst Opportunity at Proximity Works

Role Overview:

As a crucial member of our team, you'll work closely with founding team members, the product team, and the finance group. Your tasks will include developing interactive dashboards and reports using Looker Studio and Connected Google Sheets, crafting and running complex SQL queries, and managing data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll play a key role in maintaining data integrity for critical business use cases and serving as the primary data contact for our teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage interactive dashboards and reports.
• Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries and data models.
• Maintain and enhance data pipelines using GCP tools like BigQuery.
• Act as the go-to data expert for the product and finance teams, assisting with data analyses and insights.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used across business segments.

What We Require:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Data Engineering and Analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with BI, data visualization, and reporting tools (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with GCP, particularly BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with additional analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics).
• Industry experience in Esports or Online & Mobile Gaming is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• The ability and enthusiasm to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work from the Bangalore office and be an integral part of an innovative onsite team.
