The Role: Data Engineer Why We have this role: Qualtrics is seeking Data Engineers to join our expanding Engineering department in our Mexico City office. If you have a Bachelor’s degree, over a year of software engineering experience, and are interested in working for a rapidly growing tech company, Qualtrics could be your dream job. Drive operational excellence by investigating production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and creating mitigation actions 2. Improve performance, availability, reliability, scalability, throughput, and latency 3. Work with your team to meet customer needs, understand decision-making, and amplify your contribution. What We're Looking For On Your Resume: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field 2. 1+ years of professional coding experience with any programming language (Preference for experience in Python, AWS (S3, RDS, EMR, EC2), Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Airflow, Spark, or Docker) 3. Experience with web infrastructure and distributed systems 4. Experience with software engineering best practices 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment. 6. Passion to build products that assist customers in efficiently performing their jobs 7. Continuous learner who is curious and eager to learn from others 8. Derives satisfaction from helping others succeed and constantly seeks improvement 9.
