Your work environment:
The "Banking" division has developed around retail banking, private banking, and specialized financial services. We are participating in the digital revolution through our expertise in process automation, Big Data, AI, Cloud. We support our clients' transformation by involving our skills in functional areas of Credit, Risk/Compliance, and Means of Payment.
If you are passionate about data valuation, join our Data Factory located in Nantes and the some 100 Data Engineers that compose it. You will meet experts in Data Platform implementation, Data Architects, and other solution experts around data valorization issues.
You are assisted in the development of your knowledge through different data paths whether for ingestion, datahub construction, data transformation and valorization, modeling, and provision.
Joining the Sopra Steria Data Factory means joining a community of Data Engineers proud to share their knowledge and open to new data experiences and experiments.
Your role and missions:
As part of the Data platform implementation for our clients and depending on your experience and preference for one of our Data chapters below, you will participate in:
- Understanding business needs and translating them into data engineering and/or data analysis solutions;
- Implementing data ingestion solutions, whether in batch and/or streaming in a Cloud context;
- Structuring the DataLake, implementing governance and data security processes;
- Data processing up to business exposure;
- Implementing the CI/CD chain and its supervision;
- Technological watch with our publisher partners and the implementation of Prototype Design, Proof of Concept or MVP for the purpose of ideation for our clients.
Technical environment: Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Elastic, Cloudera, Azure HD Insight, Informatica, Talend, Stambia, DataStage, SAS, DataIku, DataBricks, Qlik, SAP BI (BO), Power BI, Java, Scala, Python, R
Qualifications
Your profile:
Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent training, you have already participated in a Data project (Big Data, BI) and you have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
You attach particular importance to the development of your skills on various technologies. You desire a real career progression through project experience. You are concerned about providing value for your clients. And you want to share your knowledge with less experienced colleagues. So, don't wait any longer, this job is for you!
