Key Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Develop, implement, and maintain information data lakes
• Utilize insight platforms to enable decision support systems
• Collaborate with business owners to understand data and reporting requirements
• Build ETLs to ingest data into data warehouses and data lakes
• Support end-user reporting applications
• Work closely with business customers and development teams to define analytics requirements and deliver flexible, scalable solutions
• Utilize big data and emerging technologies to drive business intelligence solutions end-to-end: business requirements, data modeling, ETL, metadata, reporting, and dashboarding

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Proficiency in one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR)
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, ODI, SSIS, BODI, Datastage)
