WWC Global is looking for a Data Engineer to potentially join their efforts in supporting CENTCOM's data integration. The job is located on-site at MacDill AFB, FL.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting all phases of data management and acquisition, overseeing the creation of an enterprise data architecture. This includes providing help desk support and user assistance.
- Using Python and R languages for data engineering and transforming structured and unstructured/NoSQL data.
- Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, taking data from various sources and transforming it into a usable format for data storage systems.
- Maintaining compliance with DOD data governance.
- Creating secure, highly available data frameworks that provide the necessary insights and analytics for making vital decisions.
- Leveraging robotic process automation to provide quality and timely data for reports, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- Collaborating with Data Scientists, ORSAs, and Analysts to understand data requirements and create appropriate data models and schemas.
This position depends on the awarding of a contract.
Work environment includes moderate noise levels and the need for extended periods of sitting at a computer terminal. Minimal travel, between 0%-10%, may be required for offsite meetings, training, and conferences.

Basic qualifications include a STEM degree, active Secret security clearance, 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering, extensive knowledge of R and Python, and fluency in English. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the U.S., as WWC Global will not sponsor work visas for this position.
Preferred qualifications include an active TS/SCI Clearance and experience with cloud computing/operations.
