Overview

We're searching for a skilled Data Engineer to develop, manage, and optimize data ingestion pipelines, working closely with our Data Engineering team to advance our technological endeavors while discovering the business implications behind our data.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with business users to collect requirements, develop technical specifications, and translate technical requirements.
• Create and maintain sophisticated SQL and/or ETL solutions across diverse computing environments.
• Drive innovation by defining new capabilities and seeking opportunities for continual improvement.
• Document all code comprehensively from inception to completion, aiding future comprehension and usability.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure alignment with technical direction and to reduce impact on production environments.
• Engage with stakeholders to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines.
• Offer support for production data pipelines and their technological foundations.

Technical Skills

• Proven expertise in SQL, including experience with large datasets and complex SQL scripts.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with cloud platforms and familiarity with tools like Airflow, Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Experience in using ETL tools and code repositories.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C# and Python.
• Competence with modern BI Reporting platforms like Tableau or Power BI is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years full-time experience in the data field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is strongly preferred.
• Ability to uphold the highest integrity and professional standards as required by a regulated business environment.
