About the Role

As a data-driven organization, Ledger relies heavily on insightful, accurate data to drive major decisions. We're currently seeking a skilled Data Engineer to enhance our data engineering team's capabilities. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our data pipeline architecture, maintaining robust data flows, and transitioning systems to cutting-edge data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract insights from diverse data sources including relational databases, APIs, and flat files.
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights while ensuring code quality and efficient data pipeline operations.
  • Monitor and maintain data pipelines, quickly addressing any anomalies.
  • Support migration of existing pipelines to modern data platforms utilizing Docker in AWS and Snowflake environments.
  • Collaborate on innovative projects such as generative AI, API development, and anomaly detection.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in ELT using Python, SQL, alongside tools like Fivetran, Stitch, Adverity, and dbt.
  • Experienced with AWS services, Data Warehousing in Redshift, and orchestrating workflows via Airflow.
  • Handy with BI tools like Tableau and Mixpanel, and version control using GitHub.

Who We Are Looking For

You should have at least three years of relevant experience in data engineering, fluency in English, and strong skills in SQL and Python. Familiarity with AWS infrastructure, and knowledge of version control in Git are essential. Bonus if you have experience with Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake, or have an interest in the crypto industry.
