Overview:

At Sonova Group, we are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to enhance our Data Analytics team. Your role will be pivotal in integrating and managing data from diversified sources to build a scalable, reliable global consumer data hub, ensuring high data quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive data models across various use cases, ensuring data consistency and quality within all Sonova Group companies.
• Lead the integration work of building our consumer data hub using Microsoft Azure, in collaboration with both internal and external teams, while also adding new data sources continuously.
• Coordinate with global BI and IT teams on various engineering topics.
• Create comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, sources, structures, and transformations.
• Partner with analysts globally to enhance data accessibility, automate reports, and facilitate the sharing of best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in IT, Mathematics, Science, or an Engineering discipline (BS/MS/PhD).
• At least 3 years of professional experience in data engineering, including expertise in building robust data pipelines.
• Proven experience in data lake and data warehouse design.
• Strong proficiency with SQL (including PL/SQL) and Python.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Azure, utilizing services like Databricks, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics.
• Skilled in pipeline and workflow management tools.
• Knowledge of code versioning, review, and documentation processes.
