Key Responsibilities

As our Data Engineer, you will:

  • Define and execute the architecture for our Data Lake on AWS.
  • Develop comprehensive data pipelines and ingestion workflows, integrating AI models from diverse data sources.
  • Construct and maintain infrastructure for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL and AWS big data technologies.
  • Create robust analytics tools to derive insights into customer acquisition, operational effectiveness, and critical business metrics, enhanced by AI modeling.
  • Manage large data sets meeting both functional and non-functional business needs, incorporating AI for deeper data interpretation and insights.
  • Streamline internal processes by automating tasks, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for scalable growth.
  • Offer ongoing technical support for data issues and AI modeling to Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams.
  • Develop and maintain essential data tools for analytics and business analysts, fostering product innovation.
  • Ensure supreme data quality and security, managing the data dictionary and adhering to regulatory standards and AI modeling accuracy.

Required Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with various databases.
  • Expertise in building and optimizing big data pipelines, with a solid understanding of AI modeling integration.
  • Capability to perform in-depth analysis of complex data and translate findings into actionable improvements.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, Lake Formation, Athena, Glue, Redshift Spectrum, S3 Storage, IAM, and KMS.
  • Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English; Spanish is an advantage.
