Job Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer at our Lisbon Tech Centre, you will:

  • Work alongside the data platform team and management to construct robust data pipelines on our cloud platform.
  • Collaborate closely with various domain leads and data product owners to assess needs and develop solutions within GCP.
  • Clean, transform, and manage raw data from multiple sources into dependable data products.
  • Implement tests to uphold data quality and reliability.
  • Document data products to maintain a universal understanding of data dimensions and metrics.
  • Apply best software engineering practices to analytics including version control, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Identify and automate process transformations to enhance efficiency.

Academic Background

Candidates should possess a university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or have comparable work experience.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in similar engineering roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Proven experience with Cloud Services, preferably GCP. Familiarity with Terraform, BigQuery, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, and GitLab is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis tools like Looker is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French proficiency is a plus.

Interview Process
