About the Team

The Global Industry & Value Management team at Workday is a business consulting practice that helps organizations build their case for Workday and quantify its impact. Established in 2021, our Global Value Services Center supports the team by executing key global initiatives and programs, conducting market research, financial modeling, data analysis, and creating business cases. This is a unique opportunity to grow with a new team and deliver significant results. Join us and develop a multinational team of motivated professionals.

About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing new tools used daily by thousands of Workmates worldwide. Your main tasks will include analyzing and cleansing data from various sources and creating dashboards to empower our Sales and Marketing teams. The datasets will primarily consist of customer success metrics with Workday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prioritize data from both structured and unstructured sources.
  • Gather and detail business and technical requirements for new tools.
  • Assist in prototyping new applications using SQL, Google Apps, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Develop and optimize dashboards in Tableau and other tools.
  • Craft and execute test plans with end users.
  • Capture documentation for maintenance and enablement.
  • Fix bugs and provide support as needed.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in a multinational company.
  • Proven experience with designing intuitive Tableau dashboards and UX design.
  • Experience with data cleansing, databases, data validation, and building scripts and formulas.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite.

Other Qualifications:

  • Willingness to learn new concepts independently.
  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, deadlines, and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent collaboration skills; we are a team with strong comradery.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Redshift, and/or Snowflake is a plus.
  • Experience with frontend technologies: Flask, Django, React, Angular, or jQuery is a plus.
