Team Overview:
Technical Scoring and Analytics Team:
We improve our customers' Salesforce experience by empowering builders with data to optimize and improve the technical performance of Salesforce products. Our scope includes the Technical Health Score (part of Customer Success Scorecard) and monitoring or optimizing the experienced page load time for our customers' Salesforce pages.
Success in the Role:
If you've effectively collaborated with cross-functional teams, absorbed their data needs, and successfully delivered on your assigned initiatives, this role is for you. You should demonstrate ownership of assigned initiatives, supporting senior members in building and maintaining data pipelines. A desire to grow, improving yourself in data collection, storage, and management strategies, and a passion for data analysis to derive actionable insights from data trends will be beneficial.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python, Java, or Scala.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
- Knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka is advantageous.
- Strong problem solving skills with a focus on data quality and management.
- Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD practices.
- Openness to learning, adapting, and contributing to best practices.
- Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S/M.S. in Computer Sciences or related field.
- 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in data engineering.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Salesforce products or related CRM systems.
- Experience working with AWS, GCP, or other prominent cloud providers.
- Familiarity with advanced debugging techniques and performance tuning.
