Our Burgundy site (730 employees), Alstom Le Creusot, located 1h20 from Paris and 40 minutes from Lyon by TGV, is a Center of Excellence in design and manufacturing of bogies (chassis, wheels, axles, brakes) for TGVs, trams, trains, metros in France and worldwide.

As part of a new position, we are looking for a Data Engineer H/F.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Establishing a database:
  • Define hardware needs
  • Design the database structure
  • Find solutions to retrieve data from various sources
• Business Intelligence: Create a roadmap and develop reports/analyses in line with business requirements and cost-benefit ratios
• Developing industrial data collection solutions
• Managing innovation projects and technology monitoring on Industrial Data

Your Profile:

Engineer in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering with a Computer specialization.

• Proficiency in structured languages (JavaScript, Scala, Python…)
• Knowledge of various operating systems: UNIX, Linux, Solaris
• Experience with database solutions (SQL, NoSQL…)
• Strong expertise in data storage and ETL tools
• Mastery of Big Data technologies for data processing and manipulation (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka…)
• Knowledge in AI and IIoT
• Good understanding of information systems (SAP)
• Experience with power platform solutions (Power BI, PowerApps…)
