The Role: Data Engineer I Why We have this role: Qualtrics is looking for Data Engineers to join our growing Engineering department in our Mexico City office. If you have a Bachelor's degree, have over a year of software engineering experience, and want to work at a rapidly expanding tech company, Qualtrics could be your dream destination. Learn Agile methodologies by attending daily stand-up meetings, prioritizing tasks, and working urgently to meet scheduled plan to deliver value to our customers Things You’ll Do: 1. Collaborate closely with your team to collect and incorporate feedback into your feature design 2. Ensure operational excellence by examining production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and carrying out actions for mitigation 3. Enhance performance, availability, reliability, scale, throughput, and latency 4. Work with your team to meet customer work, understand decisions made, and express your opinions What We’re Looking For On Your Resume: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field 2. Coding experience with any programming language (preferably TypeScript/JavaScript/React/Python) 3. Experience with web infrastructure and distributed systems 4. Familiarity with software engineering best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews, design, continuous delivery, git, test automation, and build/deploy systems) 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment, and to learn new frameworks/stacks 6. Passion for building products that help customers quickly and effectively get their job done 7. Curiosity and continuous learning, both independently and from others 8. Satisfaction from helping others succeed, and a constant desire to improve 9. Ability to identify gaps, propose solutions to important problems, and then see it to resolution What You Should Know About This Team: Our team comprises highly passionate engineers on the cutting edge of data analytics and processing.
