Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Data Engineer I to enhance our team at Sundance. As a key player in our data management framework, you will be instrumental in expanding and refining our data pipeline architecture to align with emerging technologies and business demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor critical data pipelines daily to ensure quality, automate verification of key metrics, and maintain system integrity.
  • Research, diagnose, and rectify technical and data issues.
  • Design and implement robust ETL and data pipelines responsive to evolving business requirements.
  • Optimize existing pipelines to enhance efficiency, clarity, and speed.
  • Document all processes, coding, and testing activities to promote clarity, reproducibility, and sustainability.
  • Adhere to best practices in data management and commit to ongoing learning and development in the field.
  • Thoroughly validate metrics and structures prior to full-scale implementation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (6-8 years).
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proven experience in constructing and maintaining ETL processes.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
