The Role: Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our headquarters in Louisville, KY. This full-time, hybrid position involves crafting sophisticated big data solutions that streamline our decision-making process and enhance business operations. Your expertise will help shape our technological infrastructure and directly influence the scalability and effectiveness of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data architectures that support business needs.
• Select and integrate the best tools and technologies to maximize data processing efficiency.
• Create cohesive datasets from diverse data sources for comprehensive analytics and reporting.
• Optimize data workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and improve performance.
• Manage and automate data processes to guarantee reliability and timeliness.
• Collaborate closely with analysts and business stakeholders to align data solutions with organizational goals.
• Ensure stringent data security and compliance standards are met.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Over 4 years of experience with data warehousing and database management.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud-based database management (Azure DB preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and detail orientation.
• Experience in a high growth or CPG company environment is a plus.
