About the Role

As a Data Engineer at Zeta, you will lead crucial data migration projects for prominent banking clients in the US. This role blends in-depth technical expertise with client interaction, making it perfect for those who thrive in both collaborative and leadership capacities. You will play a vital role in transitioning data from legacy systems to our advanced Zeta platform, ensuring smooth and effective data integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand migration scope and challenges. Develop comprehensive strategies and plans for transferring existing data onto the Tachyon Core.
• Program Execution: Ensure flawless execution of migration plans, maintaining rigorous governance and timely communication with all stakeholders.
• Platform Proficiency: Gain deep insights into the capabilities of the Tachyon platform to enhance integration and data migration processes.
• Data Migration Strategy: Formulate detailed strategy documents addressing data transfer, reconciliation, and quality assurance operations.
• Cut-over and Go-Live: Manage key transition phases, working closely with diverse teams to ensure seamless migration.
• Liaising with Product Teams: Work with Zeta’s product managers to understand data architecture and develop effective migration scripts.
• Technical Problem Solving: Provide technical support to clients, helping them navigate and utilize our platform efficiently.
• Migration Scripting: Lead the development of migration pipelines and conduct mock migrations to ensure robustness.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong analytical skills with an action-oriented approach.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for managing external stakeholder relationships.
• Comprehensive understanding of technical products with the ability to prioritize and make informed decisions.
• Hands-on experience with Data Architecture, Software Development in Data Engineering, and Data Migration.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years in Technology Delivery roles.
• Prior experience in client-facing roles and Credit Card Migrations is crucial.
