Key Responsibilities
- Empower the Windows, Developers, and Experiences team by enhancing data utilization throughout the development lifecycle.
- Promote a data-driven and experimental culture across different teams.
- Improve data platform offerings and understand holistic company needs.
- Collaborate with teams and customers to define project scopes and deliver innovative solutions.
- Develop Big Data ETL pipelines using SCOPE, Scala, SQL, Python, or C#.
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation processes.
- Contribute your coding expertise in C#, C++, Java, or SQL to various projects.
- Engage in high-level problem-solving and debugging in complex, scalable systems.
- Advance your knowledge in distributed data processing technologies like Map-Reduce and Apache Spark.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- OR a Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in the fields mentioned above.
- Experience in business analytics, data science, software development, or data engineering.
- Proficiency in C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge in system-level programming on Windows platforms, including driver development.
- Adept at working within a global team and familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred:
- 5+ years of data engineering experience.
- Advanced skills in cloud computing technologies such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and related tools.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a systematic approach to software design.
