Join the dynamic Data Team at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG) as a Data Engineer II. In this role, you will collaborate closely with multiple teams across our organization to define and deliver world-class data products for both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer II, you will:

• Build high-quality solutions and user experiences for internal customers, aggregating customer data across channels such as mobile, online, and retail.
• Integrate with various third-party systems and develop data pipelines to provide a rewarding experience for stakeholders.
• Utilize cutting-edge technologies to solve business problems during all phases of development.
• Create self-service solutions by defining best practices, building frameworks, and introducing new third-party tools.
• Provide operational excellence by monitoring and ensuring the stability and health of our applications and systems.
• Actively participate in design discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to define and implement data products.
• Design and implement data models using the latest warehouse data modeling techniques, including dimensional, data vault, and entity-relationship.
• Be open to occasional travel to Fanatics Betting & Gaming offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team-building activities.

Qualifications

• Effective communication of complex technical subjects to a variety of audiences, including engineers, technical leaders, marketing and operations teams, and non-technical functional leaders.
• Being a cultural and technical champion who strives to improve best practices and make Fanatics a better place to work as an engineer.
• Ability to triage and debug system-wide production issues.
• Experience in building highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems in a highly regulated production environment.
• Understanding of business outcomes and the ability to drive technical solutions to meet goals.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, Snowflake, DBT, AWS S3, and Airflow.
• A passion for technology and working in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Ability to develop, test, and deploy high-quality solutions.

Salary Range: $108,000 to $216,000 (Salary range covers all Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change based on the Zone associated with the final offer).
