Join Our Team as a Data Engineer III
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Engineer III to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and implementing robust data pipelines and integration solutions using cutting-edge technologies like Spark, Scala, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design data solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Spark and Scala.
- Design, build, and optimize data models and architectures for efficient data processing and storage.
- Implement data integration and transformation workflows to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data availability and reliability.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processing systems for improved efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to provide necessary data sets and tools for analysis and reporting.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies in data engineering to enhance our data infrastructure.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong programming skills in Scala and experience with Spark for data processing and analytics.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, GCS, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, etc.
- Experience with data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database systems.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Proficiency in working with large-scale data sets and distributed computing frameworks.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation Information
The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock options.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 2 years of experience in software engineering or related field, or
- 4 years of experience in software engineering or related field, or
- Master's degree in Computer Science.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2 years of experience in software engineering.
- Background in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
