About the Role

As a Data Engineer III, you will be integral in designing, documenting, and upholding the data architecture to align with our system implementations. This role is crucial for identifying improvements in data quality and enforcing rigorous data governance across our portfolio. You will collaborate closely with internal customers to understand their needs and provide strategic input on data solutions for various projects.

In this dynamic role, you will also contribute to data strategy and oversee data-related tasks in AI initiatives and other enterprise projects. Your efforts will support architectural modeling for effective decision-making and system enhancements, ensuring high standards of data governance and stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design data models that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries, data lineage, and metadata artifacts.
  • Document and refine existing ETL processes to enhance data integration and efficiency.
  • Support and lead data strategy for AI-driven projects, focusing on data cleanliness and accuracy.
  • Design and manage RPAs for efficient data ingestion to improve QA and system testing accuracy.
  • Work alongside business analysts to translate business needs into detailed data requirements.

What You Will Bring

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with minimum 6 years relevant experience.
  • Profound SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases and data querying.
  • Experience with AWS services like S3, Redshift, and Glue and building data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with programming in Python and other object-oriented scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience in AWS Security and cloud services.
  • Master Data Management (MDM) solutions experience.
