Job Summary: At Rackspace Technology, we are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to build, maintain, and enhance our Finance Data Repository (FDR). As a pivotal member of our team, you will collaborate with Architects and Delivety Leads daily, focusing on the development and operation of data pipelines.

Role and Responsibilities

• Analyze and organize raw data.
• Design, build, and maintain both batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Develop ETL processes and prepare data according to standardization, transformation, and integration requirements.
• Construct standardized pipelines in collaboration with our DevSecOps team and architects.
• Build and utilize reusable components for efficient data management.
• Explore strategies to enhance data quality and reliability.
• Perform data ingestion from various sources with different integration mechanisms like RDBMS, API, and Events.
• Employ data controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, and quality across designated areas.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Advanced knowledge in data models and data sourcing, including meticulous SQL skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Practical experience in database design and hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, ADLS, and other Azure technologies.
