About the Role: Data Engineer (INSITE Spec-SDL) - Sperry Drilling

This role places you at the forefront of job execution and oversight, ensuring optimal geological and drilling data collection and management in compliance with customer demands. You will manage company assets, maintain equipment at site, analyze and report logging information, and provide expert advice based on equipment capabilities. Your insights will directly influence drilling decisions by interpreting geological data and managing well-site information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervision and management of on-location data collection and reporting

- Analysis of geological formations and logging information

- Maintenance and operation of mud logging equipment

- Documentation and communication of findings to stakeholders

- Coordination of site operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Petroleum or a related field

- At least 2 years of relevant experience in geological and drilling data collection

- Proficient in communication, data entry, and arithmetic

- Commitment to safety and quality standards

Location & Employment Details:

Position based in LOT 103 CHARMICHAEL STREET, Georgetown, Demerara, Guyana. This is a full-time role intended for those who thrive in field positions and are comfortable with commuter arrangements.
