Join Vatica Health as a Data Engineer and Analyst

We at Vatica Health are searching for a passionate Data Engineer and Analyst to transform data into actionable insights and support business decision-making. As a member of our team, you'll manage the full data life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient data collection systems and strategies to enhance statistical accuracy and data quality.
• Interpret complex data sets, analyze results using statistical techniques, and generate ongoing reports.
• Acquire data from primary and secondary sources.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Cleanse data to filter out inaccuracies and review bad data trends to identify issues.
• Collaborate closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new opportunities for process improvement.
• Document data handling activities and maintain robust documentation.
• Mentor and instruct less experienced team members.

Job Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Architect in a cloud-based environment.
• Advanced expertise in data modeling techniques, database and data design development, data mining, and reporting techniques.
• Proficiency with cloud-based relational databases such as Azure SQL or equivalents, Azure Data Factory, T-SQL, and programming languages including C#, Java, or GoLang.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information with precision and accuracy.
• Experience writing T-SQL queries, application programs, generating reports, and presenting findings.
• Experience in risk adjustment and/or Quality is a plus.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

The salary for this position is typically determined by factors such as qualifications, experience, skills, and location. The estimated compensation range for this role is $115,000 to $135,000 (annualized USD). However, this estimate represents just one aspect of our total compensation package.
