Who We Are Looking For:

Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Multiple locations available

As a Data Engineer, you'll join our technology leadership team and play a fundamental role in steering Evolent towards its mission. You’ll handle various data-driven initiatives, including data engineering, ETL, data profiling, and more. This role is crucial in managing the data lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring excellence in our services.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and implement solutions for data integration and workflow using SSIS, ensuring high performance of ETL processes.
• Work extensively with SQL, developing strategies to manage and leverage healthcare data effectively.
• Understand and manipulate data sets from a variety of sources, identifying key patterns and discrepancies.
• Collaborate across teams to foster knowledge of data standards and improve data quality.
• Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Essential: Proficient in SQL, SSIS, and ETL processes. Experience with data structures and healthcare data is crucial.
• Preferred: Familiarity with U.S. healthcare insurance (ICD, CPT codes, medical claims, etc.) and strong communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field with at least 4 years of experience.

Additional Requirements: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection (over 10 Mbps) and the capability to connect directly to your home router.
