Job Description

  • You develop and implement a state-of-the-art IT architecture adapted to the semiconductor manufacturing network, taking into account existing standards (DWH consisting of relational databases and Data Lakes / Hadoop).
  • You develop and enforce Data Governance rules for the semiconductor manufacturing network and further develop the cross-department IT systems.
  • You analyze and document the data structures in existing databases and storage systems proximal to production, as well as within the Data Warehouse / Data Lake.
  • You support the development and rollout of automated and scalable pipelines for loading from databases and file shares close to production into the Data Warehouse / Data Lake, and data preparation within the Smart Data Warehouse / Data Lake according to predefined Data Governance rules.
  • You consider measures to secure data integrity and -security and their monitoring and document the data landscape as well as the input / output of the ETL pipelines.
  • You combine standardized or partially individual data structures from the worldwide manufacturing network, taking into account differing interests between project management, customers, service providers, and existing IT conditions.

Qualifications

  • Education: completed university degree (Master/Diploma/PhD) in computer science or a comparable course of study
  • Personality and Working Style: initiative, team-capable, strong communication skills, resilient, independent; analytical and conceptual approach
  • Experience and Knowledge: experience in the administration and operation of Linux systems; knowledge of standard office tools, Oracle DB, Hadoop, SQL, network technology, Linux / Windows (operating systems); very good programming skills in a high language (C#, Java, Python); very good understanding of manufacturing-oriented IT and data architectures
  • Qualification: proven experience in working with large amounts of data is advantageous
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
