Job Description

You will work on our client accounts in the region across various sectors, implementing the infrastructure for data processing, analysis, monitoring of applied models, and fine-tuning of algorithm calculations, while developing your expertise.

A Data Engineer position at Business & Decision involves:

• Designing, implementing and optimizing models to store and process data
• Controlling and evaluating the quality of models
• Implementing, optimizing and maintaining distributed data processing algorithms (Scala, Spark, Java)
• Deploying and industrializing pipelines for data collection, ingestion, and storage
• Monitoring and ensuring the smooth operation of production pipelines
• Defining best development practices by implementing CI/CD tools
• Keeping abreast of Big Data technologies
• Participating in the definition, design and/or evolution of the architecture, by integrating new components (frameworks, libraries, etc.) that better meet needs

These varied and enriching tasks will enable you to evolve on all the challenges of a project.

Qualifications

With an IT degree equivalent to a Master's degree, you have at least 3 years of experience in the implementation of Big Data and Business Intelligence projects.

Your profile to complete this mission:

• Mastery of the Spark framework
• Proficiency with Kubernetes
• A good understanding of Hadoop ecosystem and Big Data technologies (Hadoop/Cloudera, Kafka, ELK, NoSQL)
• A good knowledge of programming languages such as Scala, SQL, Python, Java,
• A knack for Devops practices (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Terraform)
