We are currently looking for a

Data Engineer (m/f/d) for Data Warehouse and Oracle

  • Taking on various tasks utilizing the technical possibilities within Oracle databases, Big Data clusters, and time series storage within the context of building and operating the data landscape and data warehouse;
  • Responsibility for optimized data structures and fast access to our data landscape. Achieving new quality of data availability on the visualization and application level as well as for the data lifecycle;
  • Collaboration with IT administrators and application managers to ensure smooth operations and independent implementation of system-side standards at a high quality;
  • Understanding of problems to make suitable suggestions for the respective focal points in the data warehouse environment in the sense of continuous and stable operability of data integration routes and the data platform;
  • Design of innovative solutions for diverse use cases, including coordination and implementation with the team;
  • Ensuring the satisfaction of internal customers and application departments;

Requirements

  • Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in computer science or a comparable course of study as well as several years of professional experience;
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and experience with concepts of data preparation, data modeling as well as access methods and techniques in the data warehouse;
  • Sound knowledge in the development and operation of data integration solutions with up-to-date database technologies, especially Oracle;
  • Knowledge in the processing of mass data in order to analyze, evaluate, and propose optimization for database accesses;
  • Experience in IT concepts, UNIX operating systems, and handling scripting languages;
  • Excellent SQL knowledge is a prerequisite;
  • Basic knowledge in IT solutions for semiconductor production is desirable;
  • Team player, motivated, communicative as well as independent and reliable;
  • Very good German and English language skills both written and spoken;
