We are seeking a motivated Data Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Data & Analytics team and support our data strategies. This role offers the exciting opportunity to contribute to various projects and build data-driven applications.

About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Build high-quality data warehouses, marketing automations, recommendation engines, and more
• Integrate data from multiple systems into flexible and consistent representations
• Explore and evaluate the long-term impact of AI use cases and their implementations
• Ensure all team members and IT systems have easy access to data through various front-ends and interfaces
• Collaborate closely with the Analytics team in an agile software development process
• Make impactful contributions while working in a cross-functional team environment

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A genuine interest in data and algorithms, with an excitement for solving complex business problems through scalable data products
• Knowledge of version control systems, web technologies, software engineering best practices, and the inner workings of database systems
• The ability to convert data science insights into tangible business value (a plus)
• A passion for continuous learning and professional growth
• Excellent communication skills in English (native or full working proficiency)
• A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification

Please note that this position is based in our Berlin office, and eligibility to work in the EU is required.
