Job Responsibilities

Database Development: Create and enhance database functionalities like stored procedures, views, functions, and partitions using SQL Server.
ETL Development: Spearhead the development, coding, testing, and debugging of ETL processes with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), transforming complex business requirements into robust technical solutions. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of business requirements in ETL designs.
Production Support: Efficiently troubleshoot ETL jobs, applying advanced analytical and problem-solving skills within a Production Support environment.
Technical Skills: Show expertise in .Net frameworks, including C#.NET and VB.NET.
Database Hosting and Management: Manage online databases to guarantee accessibility and reliability, and carry out optimizations and administrative tasks.
MIS Structure Maintenance: Oversee the loading and maintenance of Management Information System (MIS) structures, incorporating external sources and exploring module extensions.
Enterprise Scheduling Parameterization: Engage in the parameterization of enterprise scheduling processes.

Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor's or higher degree in Information Technology or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
Professional Experience: At least 3 years of proven track record as a Data Engineer.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or newer. Knowledge of Oracle is an added advantage. Demonstrable experience with ETL tools, specifically SSIS, and adept at performance tuning especially in managing large data volumes and table partitioning.
Data Modeling: Skilled in Data Warehousing and Data Mining with an understanding of dimensional data modeling, including schemas and keys.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to manage high-pressure situations.
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of banking domains like Customers, Deposits, Loans, Cards, and Wealth Management is beneficial.
Certifications: Microsoft Certification will be an added value.
