Role Overview: Data Engineer

What's your purpose? As a Data Engineer at Signal AI, you will be an integral part of a cohesive, cross-functional team. Our teams not only release products daily but also autonomously set product directions and experiment with new technologies. This role requires proficiency in designing, implementing, and refining data pipelines for external reporting, transforming new business challenges into actionable insights for our customers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Engage in pair programming in a highly collaborative environment.
• Develop and manage the ETL process connecting Signal infrastructure to analytical data models and environments.
• Automate the refresh of data tables, conduct comprehensive QA checks, and uphold ETL processes.
• Optimize databases and manage the integration of third-party or unstructured data sets.

• Embrace collaboration and are adept at trunk-based development strategies through pair programming.
• Subscribe to a dev-ops culture where you build, own, and maintain your solutions.
• Possess experience with large-scale distributed systems and understand the construction of resilient and observable systems.
• Are proactive, have strong communication skills, and are eager to learn and apply new skills.
• It’s a bonus if you have experience with Clojure, Terraform, and AWS.

Salary Range: €45,000 - €60,000 per annum
