About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer (Onsite) to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. Be part of a leading IT and business services firm that is dedicated to client success and employee growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to manage large datasets from diverse sources.
• Design and implement efficient and scalable data models that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet organizational goals.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to integrate data solutions seamlessly.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Continuously improve data pipelines through automation and optimization.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and modeling.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Basic Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Preferred Skills

• Extensive knowledge of data modeling techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT frameworks and tools (e.g., Informatica, Apache Spark, Airflow, AWS Glue).
• Experience with data warehousing and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in JAVA 8, REST APIs, microservices, and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with UNIX scripting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
