Here, as a Data Engineer III - Oracle DBA, you'll be an integral part of an agile team, charged with developing robust data solutions that are secure, sustainable, and scalable. You’ll focus on crafting, testing, and maintaining essential data pipelines and architectures that support a wide range of business functions aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

As a seasoned Data Engineer, you will:

• Conduct reviews of controls to guarantee comprehensive data protection.
• Customize and configure database solutions based on specific business or customer requirements.
• Revise and update data models to accommodate new use cases.
• Work extensively with SQL and have a knowledgeable understanding of NoSQL databases and their market relevance.
• Contribute to our team’s diverse culture, championing equity, inclusion, and respect.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you need:

• A minimum of 3+ years of practical experience and formal training or certification in software engineering.
• Comprehensive experience in Oracle DBA with an in-depth understanding of databases and oracle engineered systems like Exadata, ZFS, and ZDLRA.
• Proficiency in distributed database technologies and development in dynamic programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, .NET, Perl, PL/SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle database administration, including Oracle RAC, ASM, Active Data Guard, OEM, and Golden Gate replication.
• Strong skills in data analysis, agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

• Expertise in SQL, including complex joins and aggregations.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Service Now, Confluence, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with Oracle RMAN, ZDLRA appliances, microservices, cloud technologies, and Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance.
