Position: Data Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Data Engineer to join our international Data/IT team in Paris. As part of our growth and scaling efforts, we are redesigning our data stack and building new infrastructures. In this role, you will collaborate to build the architecture needed to organize and connect data, orchestrate processes, create MLOps pipelines, and ensure data availability and quality across the company. You'll be part of a dynamic, purpose-driven team aiming to enhance our impact globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop architecture for our data pipeline, enhancing existing systems.
  • Improve data quality management rules and monitor processes, increasing pipeline test coverage.
  • Maintain and enhance data tools, enhancing team understanding of data flows.
  • Utilize Git and Git Workflows in development tasks.
  • Support reporting tools and manage monitoring tools.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • Experience building data pipelines, particularly involving data warehouses, datalakes, ETLs, or orchestrating flows with varying data types and applications.
  • At least 18 months of experience specifically in Data Engineering (excluding Business Intelligence or Data Analyst roles).
  • 3+ years of using agile frameworks with industry experience in dev huddles/agile ceremonies.
  • Proficient in Python and advanced skills in SQL.
  • Experience in Test-Driven Development.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Paris, with office presence at least 3 times a week.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
  • Dynamic, autonomous, with a keen interest in sustainability and climate issues.
  • Fluency in English and French.
