We're seeking a dynamic individual to join us in our relentless pursuit of innovation and success. As part of our growing Data team, you will be instrumental in delivering world-class data solutions, overcoming challenges, and ensuring the business invests in the right things.

Your Role

As a Data Engineer, you'll work alongside other data engineers, business intelligence developers, and insight analysts to provide impactful, user-centric, and value-enhancing data solutions to business stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing real-time and batch data pipelines that process data from various Boohoo systems into performant data models in a Big Query data warehouse
• Collaborating in a senior role within a growing and continuously learning team that adopts a hybrid remote/office approach
• Designing processes to manage batch and real-time ingestion, data integration, cleansing, and validation
• Partnering with the Insight and analytics team to deliver insights that solve complex business challenges in the competitive fashion ecommerce sector

What You'll Bring

We value experience and a proactive attitude. To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Experience designing and implementing complex data solutions within a cloud data stack
• Experience in data engineering or data warehousing
• Proficiency in working in a CI/CD environment
• Strong skills in SQL & Python
• Experience managing large and complex datasets and dimensional modeling
• Exposure to GCP data solutions such as Big Query, Dataform, Cloud Deploy, and AWS platform (S3, Athena, Redshift)
• Highly organized, process-driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic approach to work
• Team player with the ability to work with multiple business functions to achieve objectives
