About our Team: We are responsible for the complex flow of data across teams, data centers, and organizational boundaries. We incorporate advanced analytics into decision-making processes across our customer product suite as well as internal operations.
About the Role: Develop a deep understanding of our business producing a faculty information system that enables faculty, researcher, and institutional success.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining the fundamental data pipelines and data warehouse architecture that support business intelligence dashboards and other organizational metrics.
- Designing and implementing modern, scalable data objects for modeling and analysis.
- Collaborating with other engineers and non-technical stakeholders across our organization.
- Implementing and enforcing processes and tools that will maintain understanding, integrity, and accuracy of data.
- Identifying and acting proactively on automation opportunities for process enhancement to advance business process goals.
Requirements:
- Have current and extensive Snowflake experience and possess an extensive SQL background.
- Demonstrate relevant data engineering, data management, and cloud computing experience.
- Have ETL development experience using high-level programming language and associated technologies such as Python, PHP, Ruby on Rails.
