Job Description

  • Contribute to greatness: You are active in the future-oriented field of electric drives and make a direct contribution to the electrification of tomorrow's mobility.
  • As a Data Engineer (f/m/div.) you will actively collaborate in the development of IT pipelines to transfer data between different systems.
  • You accompany the entire Data Engineering lifecycle. This means design, build, integrate data from various resources, and manage data integrations.
  • You will be developing customer-oriented digital solutions worldwide for internal and external partners with focus on data.
  • Collaborate with IT and functional departments from different plants worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Education: University Degree (Bachelor/Master/Ph.D.) in computer science, mathematics, physics, industrial engineering, cybernetics, statistics or comparable field of study.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Experience with practices of data engineering (i.e. Data modelling, Data streaming, ETL development, Data warehousing).
  • Clear understanding of the ecosystem, including ingestion, processing frameworks and storage engines, e.g., PySpark, Airflow, Kafka, Hadoop, Azure Cloud, Databricks.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience in API management is an advantage.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken), German skills are a plus.
  • Personality and way of working: Data driven mindset, openness, customer oriented, quality awareness, team player, structured and self-organized way of working.
  • Good communication and coordination skills in working with interdisciplinary & international teams.
