About the Role: Data Engineer on the Analytics Team
As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the company to design, build, and implement data pipelines and models that enable our cutting-edge technology to be deployed globally. You will also play a key role in shaping the data platform vision at Anduril.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and roadmap for our data platform.
- Partner with operations, product, and engineering teams to advocate best practices and build supporting systems and infrastructure for various data needs.
- Own the ingest and egress frameworks for data pipelines, integrating various data sources to create valuable data products that drive business outcomes.
Qualifications
If you possess the following qualifications, you will excel in this role:
- 5+ years in a data engineering role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong motivation aligned with our mission to solve major defense problems.
- Proficiency in Python or any other programming language.
- Experience with Spark, PySpark, SQL, and dbt.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Data Systems like Palantir Foundry.
- A willingness to learn and develop data services and products.
- Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystems, containerization, and associated tooling.
- Knowledge of data and visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Understanding of security best practices in engineering.
- Empathy and the ability to view experiences from the users’ perspective.
- Self-motivation and a drive to direct ambiguous projects towards impactful business outcomes.
- Capability to debug and own complex data transformation pipelines and models.
Note: U.S. Persons status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated U.S. salary range for this role is $150,000 - $225,000 USD. This range pertains to base salary only and may vary based on factors such as work experience, education, critical skills, and business considerations. Anduril also offers highly competitive equity grants as part of its comprehensive compensation package.
