About the Role
We are expanding our Data & Analytics team at Plain Concepts, and we are looking for a Data Engineer. Step into a role where AGILE self-managed, multidisciplinary teams directly handle projects to devise and implement the best solutions.
Key Responsibilities
You will engage in pre-sales processes, connecting with clients from the initial phases to discern business needs and derive the optimal technical solutions. You'll contribute to the development of data platforms and determine how artificial intelligence can benefit business strategies. Expect to implement best practices in data engineering and AI, develop projects from scratch with minimal supervision, and participate in the design of system architectures. Your toolkit will include creating ETLs using Spark (Python), developing projects in the Cloud (specifically Azure), and building scalable pipelines with technologies like Airflow and Data Factory.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with robust experience in pre-sales, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure's data and AI ecosystems (including Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Explorer, Azure Storage), and solid skills in Python and PySpark for processing large volumes of data. Experience with creating data pipelines, implementing production-ready ML models, and familiarity with MLOps technology are also crucial. You should have proficiency with version control tools, SQL and NoSQL databases, and a high level of English. A team player attitude is essential!
