Key Responsibilities:

The Data Engineer SME will:

  • Collaborate across technical teams to integrate and manage vast data sets.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of internet systems and their compliance with organizational standards.
  • Convert business needs into robust technical solutions and coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholder meetings.
  • Engage in proactive risk management and support the maintenance of our security frameworks.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize ETL processes and data workflows relevant to system operations.
  • Utilize advanced data management tools for decision-making and organizational support.
  • Adopt and contribute to agile methodologies driving software development within the company's framework.

All candidates should expect a thorough security review process, which may take up to 30 days.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in computer science or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in database management and data warehouse technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in developing interactive data dashboards and administering system tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to perform leadership roles independently.
  • Advanced experience in assessing internet technologies and data analytics.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Java, Python, JavaScript, and cloud services in secure environments.

Preferred Skills:

While not required, we highly value:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Advanced abilities in data visualization and link analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory aspects of managing detailed technical projects.
